Spring Dust Off Mystery Run Sunday April 26th 2009 Portsmouth, New Hampshire area

Twelve cars from around New England representing members of several AMC Clubs including CAMO, 4 Seasons, Nash, and Metropolitan participated in this years Mystery Run.  The weather was perfect, sunny with temperatures in the 80s.  This year's event was planned by Bob and Henny Majeski and George and Donna Berube and for something new Bob added clues along the way for us to solve a Murder Mystery at the completion of the Run.  We deaprted the Port Inn starting at 10:00 am at 3 minute intervals following printed directions with "clues" for when to turn and which street to take.  We toured Downtown Portsmouth NH ending up in Rye NH visiting many secenic spots along the way including Strawberry Banke, Wentworth By The Sea Hotel, and historic Rye.  Everyone eventually finished at Saunders Restaraunt at Rye Harbor for lunch and to compare stories.  One wrong turn took a participant into Maine but they finally got back on course when none of the clues made any sense to them.  All had a great time and are ready to do it again next year.  Thanks to the Majeskis' and Berubes' for a great event to start the 2009 AMC car season.
